Jolted awake
Never escape from the dark, commencing cataclysm
Silhouettes are dancing around my bed
I can't let the dead bury the dead
Astigmatism
Reaching for god, grasping air
Preparation for death
Your words are snares preying on undeveloped mind
Opiate dreams, I'll rest my eyes
Silhouettes dancing above my bed
Beating the bone white drums of suffering and death
Reminding me of repugnant memories
And reminiscing all of my insecurities
Why did the filthy insect eat out his stomach?
The blackness hollows out everything around it
The damage of this family isn't something that I wanted to see
What were you thinking? What were you thinking?
your religion is full of hypocrisy
I lay awake with this deep and heavy cough
Liver shot
I scream at my ceiling in the middle of the night, no reply
Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego
This album is packed to the brim with content. Every track is a unique journey, and seems to correspondingly reflect different influences. Fans of seminal mathcore bands like Converge, Botch, and Every Time I Die won't wanna miss this. To quote one of our users: "Best $1 ever spent." Christian Segerstrom
The stygian duo explore themes of gender dysphoria and oppressive institutions through sludgy doom with a pitch-black underbelly. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2021
A fantastic debut showing from Baltimore metal band Born of Plagues, uniting post-metal's expansive textures with sludge's almighty muck. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2021
