lyrics
mother why have we forsaken
An alluring rock we frivolously dwell on
Regurgitating the bile chemically made
Down our mouths
Down our chests
Choking on clots
Gasping for breath
A rotting brain, a maggots feast
dusk to dawn, a slovens release
Our waste leak onto meadows
Swept up by the rain, repetitive process casting shadows
I wish I was not of Adam
I wish I was not of atoms
"You shall not pollute the land in which you live... you shall not defile the land in which you live, in which I also dwell."
Cognitive minds, enrich the torture
Of sentient beings, growing weaker
Lack of empathy, Embraces evil
Lack of empathy, embraces evil
Embrace the earth
Enrich your earth
Know your worth

Quite possibly the most full-on album I've ever listened to. Intense, and then some. 'Digital Tarpit' could describe both the track and the whole album: high-pitched guitar squeals that make your fillings itch coupled with merciless, suffocating heaviness. The Avenell-esque vocals top it off perfectly.
Brilliant - punishing, but brilliant. jim_fuego

This album is packed to the brim with content. Every track is a unique journey, and seems to correspondingly reflect different influences. Fans of seminal mathcore bands like Converge, Botch, and Every Time I Die won't wanna miss this. To quote one of our users: "Best $1 ever spent." Christian Segerstrom
The stygian duo explore themes of gender dysphoria and oppressive institutions through sludgy doom with a pitch-black underbelly. Bandcamp Album of the Day Apr 26, 2021
A fantastic debut showing from Baltimore metal band Born of Plagues, uniting post-metal's expansive textures with sludge's almighty muck. Bandcamp New & Notable May 19, 2021
